Sale Starts with Dairy Cattle then Machinery

  

Directions: From New Ulm, MN go 10 miles S on St Hwy 15, then go E on 130th St 3/4 of a mile to farm site.

Note: Rolling Herd - 24, 226# Ave, 26 years of DHIA records, 2009 - AMPI Quality Award for SCC milk.  Butter Fat 3.9% - Protein 3.05% - SCC 160,000 and uses $20 plus semen.  11+ cows produce over 100# of milk each.

Additional Herd Info:

-Closed Herd since the 90's, no hairy warts. 

-All Pregnant heifers & older have magnets, most prego hfes an all cows have tails docked. 

-All dry cows are treated with Tomorrow, Ordeseal and given Triangle 9 at dry off. The genetics in this herd are great, have crossed 90# per cow in the tank and on DHIA test multiple times over the last decade. 

-Since January this herd has not been pushed ration wise.  Currently they are getting 8# corn, .78 energy and 17% protein, bump these numbers up and there is more milk there. 

-This herd dose not use much Bst, currently only 3 cows on.

General Herd Information: Cows are housed in freestall barn with sand bedding, milked in step-up flat parlor.  Cows don't have to leave on Sale day.  Seller will hold and milk and will also TB test if needed for transport.  Seller has hauling transportation available if needed.
